I'm originally from Shreveport. Live in Little Rock now. Have kids and Grandkids in Bossier City. Get down there a couple of times a year. I had heard there was a festival in Minden, please let me know the particulars and I'll come down for it.

I'm a native Louisianian although I live in Texas now. Born in Monroe, grew up in Ferriday, and lived awhile in Baton Rouge. Most of my family now live in New Iberia.

I am starting a study group here in Shreveport Louisiana,with The Cateran Society Broadsword Academy Apprenticeship Program under the supervision of Christopher Scott Thompson.
Our focus will be on Regimental Highland Broadsword The fighting methods of the Highland Regiments. From the Lessons of Henry Angelo, Thomas Mathewson etc, ca 1798
