Great looking pin you've got there Craig. Definitely suitable for the Arizona Tartan. I've got a long wish list and on it includes the Arizona Tartan. It's been a while since we've had a pint. Hopefully we'll be able to get together here soon.

I just remembered that one of the saguaros in my neighborhood fell over during a storm this summer. Somehow, it didn't crush anyone's house or cars; just a fence.

Perhaps you could consider a pin with the frond of a California or mexican fan palm. Just another thought.

Ron, You are correct. The sahuaro are limited to the Sonoran Desert. Their cut off point is about 3000 ft elevation. You can see exactly where they stop driving north on I-17. I believe that at higher elevations in the high desert the winter temps are too cold for them. (So I've been told.)
