I'm a little confused. I didn't even order a MacRae, and there's a mail carrier on my porch, holding a priority mail box from SWK. I told the guy I didn't order one, but he just smiled and said, "You will."

If you really want to experience jonesing. . . . just order a tank in a rare tartan and choose a busy (but outstanding) kilt maker!

You can find out what Jerry's going to come out with next if you peek behind the priority mail display at your local post office. I think I spied MacGregor heavyweights and some pvc bagpipe sets.

    Carolina,
I am going to aoder a tank from scotland after the holidays in a " Bowen of Wales" tartan. My mother is a Bowen by birth so I thought it would be nice to show some support for my own family. Problem is if you have ever tried to find someone that has the bowen of wales tartan, you would know that only like 2-3 places have it. So I will really know what it's like to jones after the holidays.

I think you will love the Ancient Hunting MacRae. I got mine earlier in the week. The kilt has some very good weight to it. I think it's more than 13 oz, maybe not quite 16 oz. Very warm in the cold, and the colors are stunning.
