Something about the way the freshly laid snow clings to the trees, stunning!

In order, the buildings are: Eaton Chapel, Middle College (the campus' first building), our brand new science center (no official name yet), Morse-Ingersoll Hall, and the house I live in.

Very nice shots! Thanks!
FYI, I was in a t-shirt and an AK (aka, summer kilt) for today's late afternoon band rehearsal. Just got home and I'll admit I chose to throw on a Levi jacket to fend off the cool night air, though it wasn't necessary.

Gregg,
Thank you for the pictures of the Campus in the first snowfall. I liked the two chairs on the front lawn draped in a blanket of snow. Reminds me of the way the lighting was in North Dakota during the first snow many years ago.

"Before two notes of the theme were played, Colin knew it was Patrick Mor MacCrimmon's 'Lament for the Children'...Sad seven times--ah, Patrick MacCrimmon of the seven dead sons....'It's a hard tune, that', said old Angus. Hard on the piper; hard on them all; hard on the world." Butcher's Broom, by Neil Gunn, 1994 Walker & Co, NY, p. 397-8.

Great pics, thanks for posting them. That much snow would cause our part of the country to completely shut down.

Greg,
I see those pictures and start salivating wondering what's going on at Cascade and Devil's Head up near the Dells.

They should be opening soon, but I'm a Nordic skier myself, so I never been to the hills. Although there's only 3 months until the Berkie, so I better get practicing!
