I'm wishing for a IOS kilt. Plus planted the idea of "creative kilt pins" in the minds of my friends. Some have decided to try to make personalized kilt pins, instead of buying them. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I already got most of my gifts: shirts and sweaters. All of my shirts were too short, so I'm upgrading (17/36).
But the only thing on my wish list is the Rosette Stone Irish program so I don't get rusty before I return to Ireland.

See? Now that's an important part of why we have so much respect for your judgment. You have a proper sense of values.

My wife and I watched Secret Millionare on TV here this past week. FWe both wish we were in a position to be able to spend a week in an area and pick a few needy people to give a life changing amount of $$ to. Other than that, a stable economy, stable job with insurance would be next. As far as things personally for me.....what ever the giver is comfortable with, even if it is just a wish for a Merry Christmas.

Well, thanks to eBay, I've already gifted myself (no gift-giving in the family this year) a new (to me) MacDonald military weight kilt and couple pair of host tops, and my collection of kilted dogs will be complete soon, so ...
I wish to have the kilt that I'm working on now to be done and in the mail by Christmas. Delivered by Christmas would be even better.
It is the season for giving, after all.

I have always joked (semi-seriously) that I would like to see Peace in my lifetime. Since I don't suppose this will happen, maybe a new sporran or a balmoral. And a clan crest. But peace and health for the world's children are still on the top of my list.
Always the dreamer.

Actually, I hoping that the family will ask...I really want a longbow.

I was kinda expecting a very kilt-oriented wishlist, but people are posting more general things, too.
Kilt-wise, my wish list includes a SWK heavyweight shadow tartan and sporran, and a 5-yard wool in MacGregor tartan from somewhere, too. Oh, and a healthy dose of tolerance from my relatives.
Non-kilt-wise, I have my eye on a new mobile phone that I wish Sony Ericsson officially sold in Australia so I didn't have to buy it outright from someone other than my mobile telephony provider. I also would wish for the means and funds to rent my own place rather than having to board at my parents. And time and provision to help care for my 2 year old son whom I don't see very much at all.
And that's just a short list!
Wade.

The mistake there was expecting that we would wish for only kit related things. The rabble are very individual, and many think deeply.
I wish for peace in my own little world, and the rest of it as well.
And maybe some really cool hose. Or a tweed jacket that truly fits me.
