I was looking at your kilt but can't see any straps or kilt pin! it isn't a....
(can I use the sk - word here? ) It does look good, where did u get it? Is it a contemporary kilt I've never seen before?
Yes you can use the sk - word, its one of those jeans skirts which are slowly becoming more popular as a menswear option in Europe. MidasClothing.com and MrAnubis are two English based makers of kilts and skirts for men which produce these as well as more traditional looking kilts. The front zipper fly is very practical. As I wear kilts most days I see this as just a dulled down variant of the kilt, and it does not garner the attention which a traditional kilt gets you. I chose to wear this on Saturday with my blue kilt hose from Hawick Sock Company because the weather was forecast to be stormy, but in the event the wind and rain never got up until evening and I was wishing that I had worn one of my tartan kilts. BTW my friend's black kilt in the photo was also made by MidasClothing.com
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

cool! Though I'd need to get one of those dodgy loans out of the back of the Sun newspaper to afford Midas' prices! I'd might as well go to Topshop or H&M and get one for £30!

seriously I think I'll stick to kilts for now. I do like the hose you have with your outfit..

Gretna Gateway if I'm not mistaken. Surprised to hear it was quiet, perhaps the credit crunch has bitten hard there. Have a nice xmas together.
