Yes, I collect pewter mugs and pint glasses. If a glass is from a pub, I'd rather bribe/tip the waitress/bartender and get a used one than buy one off the shelf. The best quality glasses I have in my collection are from Wynkoop Bewing Co. in Denver, CO, and St. Arnold's Brewery in Houston. St. Arnold's also has some great mugs, one of which I have. I will post pictures later.

    Puffer,

Now I will have to go home after work today and take a few shots of my wee collection of beer mugs. My favorite mugs are the hand thrown ceramic mug that are given to the beer drinker Hall of Fame and Beer Drinker of the Year at the Little Apple Brewery in Manhattan, Kansas. I have a few from Germany as well and a couple from other parts of the US.

    Cheers

    Those are really cute, Puffer.
I don't collect, except for the pounds I gain drinking it.

A tavern about 1/4 mile from my house was sold a couple of years ago. I didn't frequent it very much because of the atmosphere.

What do I find out just a couple of days ago? When ownership changed, they started brewing their own . Just about a dozen different beers regularly with some specials from time to time. Well, I purchased two growlers on Christmas Eve to take to the in-law's for Christmas dinner. Just the brother-in-law likes beer, so I will only have to share with him.

On top of the in-house brewing, they serve only one single malt -- Glenlivet!

They specialize in Scottish ales and stouts. Even the menu suggests food from Scotland, but I did not see haggis on the menu. Guess I will be visiting more often and probably will be kilted.

Not to my knowledge, but as I find mugs and glasses I'll check with you to see if you need them.
