Fabric engineer, I like that!!! I usually "help" my wife sew. Especially when we made an x-kilt. She did the sewing and I translated Alan's "manese" into more standard sewing directions. Not that I didn't love the commentary and writing style, but she kept looking for straighforward directions, of which there are few in the X-Kilt Manual.

That's right, I are one, {a degreed mecanical engineer}. I do like the engineering required in tailoring a piece of tartan into a kilt. Every kilt comes with it's own challenge(s).
Cooking? I let my gormet wife do the cooking in the house. She wears the paints too.

Lucky. If I could get my wife to wear paints, I'd be a very happy guy. Sadly, mine just wears pants. Can't even get her into a skirt. Haven't seen her in a swimsuit in years. Lucky you.
