Hello everyone, Blue Simian here.

Today, Jan. 1st, is my birthday. I signed up for this forum some time ago and promptly forgot about it until I received a 'happy birthday' notice in my email. Obviously it was a auto-send, but still, the thought was a nice one.

Several months ago, a new acquaintance showed up for church in a kilt. This piqued my interest and after some discussion I discovered (remembered really) that I was a Scot. This was the sort of thing I'd never really though about, but upon reflection, it made a lot of sense and explained a lot about me. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Anyway...

I hope to make new friends and learn new things. Hope your New Year is everything you hope.
