They're the equivalent of Barbour jackets for your feet and legs.

They seem to be less expensive, and less conservative in colour and style (not that that's necessarily a bad thing) than the sources for Kilt Hose.

I have bought a couple pairs on ebay. I have also bought shooting sock garters. I am not sure bun they seem the same as kilt one, but a whole heck of alot cheaper.

Phil - I tried to look this resource up, but came up short. Can you provide more details?

    Many thanks,
    Rex.

I've tried to put through an order on this web page but they don't list the U.S. as an invoice or shopping destination and the order just keeps going around in a loop. I sent off an email to them but thought perhaps it's something I'm doing wrong?

    Ideas?

Jerry -- I mentioned this in another thread, but this vendor cannot (for unspecified reasons) ship to the US or Canada. If you go to the Customer Services --> Delivery Options page you get this message:

    International Delivery
We regret that as from August 2006 we are no longer able to despatch to the USA or Canada; we are still able to despatch to most other international destinations.
However, I did find these very same socks at Pointer Products.

I have ordered from these folks - they even have reasonably priced garter ties! Bob is a nice guy - contact him prior to ordering, if its a small order he will usually cut you a much better deal on shipping.

    Cheers!

For those interested in The House of Cheviot Shooting Hose I will be visiting them in June when I visit Scotland in hopes of carrying them in my shop.

Another good source for Hose, from the same town and very similar, take a look at the Lewis Hose that Matt Newsome at The Scottish Tartans Museum carries.
