They look grand will need to look into a pair. Any opinion on what would be better diced or tartan?

Any idea if their will be any deals on the diced hose for X-Marks members or is this just for the tartan hose. I would really like to get a pair of red and green diced.

diced hose from SHO
I'm not happy with the overall quality of the photo, but you can at least see my new diced hose from Skye Highland Outfitters. The hose were based on the diced hose of the Toronto Scottish Regiment and designed to match the brown and blue of my Iowa tartan kilt.
Overall, I am very impressed with SHO's customer service and quality.
Yours aye,
Todd

Todd,
I love the color combination, the brown and blue is unique. It looks great with the Iowa Tartan.
Personally I feel that the quality to price is excellent through S H O. Their Tartan Hose sale ends at the end of business today. If anyone is considering Tartan or Diced Hose you cannot beat $127 a pair for made to measure, your tartan spec', hand dyed and knit 100% wool kilt hose. Take advantage of this opportunity.

I'm with Scotchmaster on this one. The diced look good, but they only look really good to me when in either very full dress (doublet, jewels, dirk etc) or in a pipers uniform.
However, the tartan hose look good with all of the above as well as other less dressy outfits like an argyle. If you ever visit Kinloch-Anderson's site, you'll see many of the outfits matched with tartan hose.

Did you have to place a custom weave order to get the Iowa tartan ?
I wasn't much taken with the web image of design of it, but that kilt looks very nice.
Oh, and the hose are nice too !
