Well, there's the beach...lots of beaches to choose from depending on what your tastes are. Easy to Google up information.

And...there's Tijuana....

Lived in Ramona and El Cajon back in the 70s but last visit seemed most of San Diego county was now red tile roofs. Web is probably the best bet to find things you'll wanna see. If you like things military there's plenty to see too.

As mentioned before, aside from going to clubs, if you look 37 you probably won't be carded. Leave your passport in the hotel safe -- you won't need it elsewhere, but you might need your driver's license or similar.

Anything with a picture and a birth date will suffice, i.e. college ID, International Drivers License, etc...

Oops, I forgot, you have to visit the Gas Light District, The Tilted Kilt, and if you like animals the San Diego Zoo is a must.
