It's a shame they have to burn somthing as beautiful as that statue.. It must have taken many hourss to make.

A couple of pics of the burning.
I have lots more pictures from the weekend still to sort through.

At dusk on Sunday 25th January, with Venus prominent in the sky and a lantern in the shape of the wee cowerin timorous beastie held high, the fire sculpture of Tam o'Shanter riding Meg at the keystone of Alloway Brig with the witch hanging onto Meg's tail is set alight.

Wow what a night that must have been. That must have been a sight to see the statue going up in flames. As for the whisky cellar, I don't know if I've seen anything that magnificent before, I'm thirsty just thinking about it
