Cool pictures! I see that the penguins wore black-tie to the event also. It is interesting to see him in his PC and Kilt and the bride all bundled up in a nice heavy coat and hat.

From wikkipedia: "The first formal use of the name "Antarctica" as a continental name in the 1890s is attributed to the Scottish cartographer John George Bartholomew." ith:

    Deil the Yin,

The Tartan in the photo is the Firefighters Memorial Tartan designed by Kelly Stewart of USA Kilts.

This just made me smile! What a wonderful and unique thing to do! I wish we had been in a position to do something this marvelous for our special day.

They both look stunning and she is obviously having a blast.

Everyone already stole my comments (e.g. it's high summer in Antarctica, and the penguins in black ties/tuxes).

    Be well,

Wow. A kilt, a bride, a glacier and penguins. That's a wedding memory.

Rocky, I know how this makes you feel as for a couple of months in 2006 I also could claim a Kilt on every continent. I'm looking everywhere for the picture of one of my Kilts on an ice cliff piping the sun as it goes round-n-round.

Congratulations. A great photo that is just crying for an autograph and honored place on your web site.

That's awesome! Plus, getting married in Antarctica is a great way to guarantee it's not going to rain on your wedding day.
