The keepers open up and are secured using hook and loop (velcro). They ARE the belt loops. If no MOLLE webbing is used on the kilt I would just use standard belt loops or sew the keepers down directly to the kilt. Whichever is better suited to the intended use.

That is wicked awesome! I am going to have to get a marpat jungle and desert one. Love the incorporation of the MOLLE system for the belt. That is just great!

I've made one for myself out of woodland MARPAT but the only Desert MARPAT one I've made so far was a Box pleated XKilt for a member here.

I think that those look fantastic! Once I am in a better position to spend money you can expect a couple orders from me!

I'd like one of those in ACU pattern and I like the bullet kilt pin for it.

The pin was made by the wearer of the Desert MARPAT kilt. He might make some more if you contact him via PM.

I keep trying to get my C.O. to let me wear one of these while we do crowd control in Savannah.

Hopefully your command will be a little more open to your kilt wearin then mine is. Anyway, started saving some extra cash! Gotta feed the addiction.
