They were full of liquid, but it wasn't antifreeze. The club distributed a printed list of the drink specials at each bar. They did actual RESEARCH for the pub crawl. And since it was Saturday night, the 4 o'clock bars were open until 5 o'clock following which they could go to breakfast (if they were still walking).

Great pics, looks like quite a night, and its great to see all these guys wearing kilts to go to the pubs in Chicago.

Outside of the St. Andrew's Society Highland Games, eight kilted guys was the largest number I've ever been around in Chicago. This was quite an experience, especially since I didn't know any of them prior to the pub crawl.

We've never had 40 kilted members at a kilt night, but we can get between 20-30 on a fairly regular basis. Our St. Patrick's day pub crawl is about 50 people, but only about 30 of them are kilted. I'm hoping to break that number this year.
