Spent most of the day working on a new flyer for an agent in Chicago, came up with a new logo with a graphics design guy, who is putting together another website for me. Really Creative guy, fun to work with and very prompt. Pm me if you need a really good web designer,
Wife was at work.
I have a friend who owns a high end spa, so I put on my Royal Stewart and a nice red sweater, some cream hose (gasp), my red crocks (double gasp) and fetched them some chocolate cupcakes, and a big bottle of of red wine. Walked in and said I was the Scottish cupid! The girls loved it!
Got home the wife is feeling under the weather, so I'll make her a nice dinner tomorrow. Goning to church, then to a friend's to watch a Nascar race, so I thought I'd wear my Buzz Kidder X-kilt, unless it's Bike weather, then who knows, leather jacket, Jimmy buffet parrot head tee, cable knit sweater pair of thigh high woollies, Doc Martens and The Buzz, if it above 55, jeans and chaps otherwise.

Well... I went out to dinner with the fiance and her parents at Teagans Steak and Seafood. Then I got a little bit too sauced with her dad. Now I'm sitting, surfing the site, watching tv, and feeling the *little bit* of booze I've had.
I got a few weird looks in the restaurant, and a woman saying that I DIDN'T have cute knees!

Cooked steaks on the grill and potato skins for my wife. Opened a nice bottle of Copala Black Diamond Claret to have with supper. After it was into the kilt (my new knife pleated 6 yard Estate tweed from Rocky) and off to the Wine Sellers for a Samuel Smith's Pale Ale. After we went to our local Burns night which was late this year due to the fact that the gentleman who recites (mostly from memory) Burns for us was out of town until this week. Haggis, bagpiper, fiddle, nice lass doing a sword dance. The other kilted gent in town and I were asked by the host to come up with the Toast to the Lasses. Tim came up with a good one, and I gave it. All in all a very pleasant evening.

Went out for a lovely dinner with my lady in Old Town Alexandria VA (highly recommend The Majestic @ 911 King St for those in the area). Staff was exceptional. Even had some compliments on the kilt. Quick walk down the street to a hotel party for a friend. More compliments on the kilt there. And now we're both sitting at home enjoying the rest of the evening. Definitely a good day.

Kilted. Just a boring day here. Finished cleaning out and defrosting the freezer. Then I cleaned up the mess and canned 8 quarts of beef stew. 90% of the ingredients came out of my garden and were in the freezer.

My darling, sweet hubby needs more kilt accessories so he can really dress up for any occasion. I haven't seen him in the kilt for a while, so sadly no seeing him on Valentine's Day in a kilt for me *sniffle* We went to a friend's martini party this evening and he wore a suit (we were slightly overdressed, but I don't care... we rarely get a chance to dress up so that's what we wanted to do). If he'd had more stuff to wear to dress up the kilt, he might have done that instead.
I'll have to get him to wear the kilt sometime this weekend, though!

Not kilted for me today, just the usual homework and then work.

Heh, ironic because it was a day off and I wasn't kilted. But I went to church in the evening (no, we're not any kind of strange denomination -- Sat. eve. is just when we get to use the building is all)... But I play keyboard in the band.
So, for St. Val. Day I wore head to toe black leather... Black leather shoes, pants, vest and jacket. Under the vest I had a blood-red corduroy shirt with a white Valentine's Day tie covered with red hearts...
Heh. Come to think of it, I should've taken pictures... But nothing says "Valentine's Day" quite like black leather!
