I had the pleasure of meeting George when he came to the S.M.W.S.A. tasting in Seattle last November. He was a last minute addition, and I'm glad he came. Great guy!
At that time he brought a 12 year old, 17 year old, a 21 year old, a 25 year old and that 105 Cask strength you're holding in the first picture.
They've become one of my favorites. A vertical tasting sounds fantastic! You're a luck man, Robertson!

Your right, he brought the 10 year old.
And I'd LOVE to buy yours, but I love being married more. She'd KILL me!

My dad would be sooooo jealous!!!! I haven't "acquired" a taste for scotch yet..but I am working on it! My Grandfather who turns 94 this year..still has a glass of single malt every night! I bought my dad a bottle of Bunahabian (sp) for Christmas...I would love to be able to afford a 68 year old bottle of scotch, he'd horde that thing till time ended i think!
Great Pis, thanks for sharing!!
Cheers,
Chad

I am very jealous of your good fortune. What an excellent evening!
I am doing a little research to see if there's any more available.

'59---it was a very good year (my 50th birthday this week)
I am drooling like Pavlov's dogs right now. My envy abounds. Great flicks of what I am sure was a great night.

Of the Scotch Whiskeys Glenfarclas is my favorite.
Bobbie has a bottle of the '89 which I actually prefer over the '79.
I've never even seen a bottle of the '59.
I expect to be able to see, and perchance even to hold, your bottle when I visit in June.

Good company + great Scotch = A wonderful evening. Now that's my kind of math. Congratulations on your good fortune.
