    Right......My lads and I have already scheduled a future "sporran parade", 18th century military style, and looking at the size of our regimental sporrans.... uhh...we are a bit worried......

    I believe that Edger Allen Poe, whilst a cadet at West Point (?), once fell in for parade wearing only a shako and cross belts as no further items of uniform had been specified in daily orders.

    there was a movie, that a newly commissioned LT wanted all of his men to come to formation wearing all of the medals they have one...saying " I want to see what kind of men I am dealing with" his Sargent didnt want to and he yelled at him in front of the men, telling him he better show up like the rest of em!
    well he came back....buck nekid.....wearing nothing but the medal of honor....to which the shocked Lt. ....eyes as big as dinner plates stood at attention and saluted.

    I wish I could remember what move it was in...
    anywho...this thread brought that to mind and I thought I'd share.....
