Now you guys! Got to give them a E for trying and that little girl at the end sure was having fun. But it did sound like a Bazaar Band in, oh, lets say, Uhummmm, Pakistan?
Maybe they were just tuning!!???
Who am I, who can run the Scales and are just getting the grace notes down, to criticize?

The piping was the WORST I've EVER heard. It's like they were TRYING to sound awful. Like they were PURPOSEFULLY out of tune just to make my stomach turn!

Every one person in band have difference with playing.
I got a kick out of all the comments under the video, and the OP trying to tell everyone that Pakistani bagpipes are superior to Scottish ones and you should buy from him to see. lol
Oh and don't you know? Those kids practiced for a whole week! They only need a CD of Scottish music and they'll be better than any first class piper......

To be fair, rosewood was traditionally used in Scotland for chanters, and they overcame the problems with it by substituting endangered African hardwoods!!! EEEEK!!! Rosewood may not be highly durable, but it is both more authentic and more environmentally friendly ... if you don't object to periodic replacement. I'm not a piper, so I can't comment on just how big a problem that may be. I don't know how the price of a Pakistani rosewood chanter (hopefully cheap) compares with it's expected longevity (not too long).
It's hard to see how the awful playing and/or pipes that probably aren't in tune, because they most likely don't know how to tune them, can be any advertisement for the product, though.
