    Another thing that goes very well with garlic is basil. We've got some pesto in the fridge, more in the freezer, and probably enough basil growing in our living room and kitchen (in an apartment) to make another few pints of pesto.

    Or to make a great tomato sauce, with some garlic, of course.

    My daughters, ages 6 + 9, love raw garlic, onions and hot sauce. Its all I can to keep them from mowing downd the garden chives before they get on the school bus.

    Cool! I LOVE garlic! In my neck of the woods it isn't harvested until June... But we get to enjoy the scapes before the harvest. They're yummy!

    I do have chives out there too, as well as, a couple of rosemary bushes. I used to have a rosemary hedge.
