Wonderful idea Ron. I am 20+ years along the road of happy destiny and loving every new day more than the one before it.
I think keeping drinking memories such as Drambuie Tartan may be a bit on the slippery slope. As I was told about drink non-alcoholic beer "you don't go to a whorehouse for a kiss" and that makes perfect sense to me.
Again I think it is a great idea.

Well done Ron, me lad! I'm in! To many heart meds and diabetic meds to do any
type of drinking! Don't begrudge anyone who tips a pint or two!

Right on Ron
Here have 24 yrs clean and sober. Since I quit drinking I have taken up surfing (longboard), paragliding(400 + flights), hang gliding(190+ aerotow flights), got an engineering degree and learned to play the fiddle with the time I used to use for drinking.

Hey, this isn't a recovery group. AA folks are welcome for sure, but so is anyone who doesn't drink for whatever reason - common sense, medical, spiritual beliefs, or had enough....

Good idea Ron. I don't drink either, and never have. Might go far in breaking down stereotypes as well.

I wish there were more real life venues for kilted non-drinkers. It's so tired going to smoky bars that smell up one's kilt, full of drunk people, usually women, who seem to feel that any man in a kilt is fair game for a kilt check, and refuse to understand that their drunken levity is just an unpleasant invasion of privacy.
I'm in the same boat. I'd like to be able to go somewhere in the kilt without doing the bar scene. We don't have a smoke problem here in California, but a bar is usually not a very pleasant place for those who don't imbibe.

Well climb aboard Rodandy.
Don't need to be in some sort of formal recovery program to kilt sober. Last statistics I saw said about 38% of all adults in the U.S.A. don't drink
Could be recovery sure, but also can be common sense, spiritual beliefs, or knowledge of the effects of the poison ethanol on the human mind and body.
The risky part of kilt nights for them of us who are sober by necessity is that the sense of smell is a proven relapse trigger.
A kilt night at a non-alcohol venue is probably still a pipe dream though.

We have had a few, though they are few and far between, you just have to think outside the box. A kilted AA meeting would be great, I'm always the only one in my area.
In 1997 I rode the motorcycle down to Frederick Maryland for the World's first Sober Biker convention, unfortunately it was the only one. Perhaps at some point we could have a Sober Kilties World Convention, with meetings etc. I know this group is open to all, but then so is an open meeting.

Well, you've got my two main reasons for drinking right there, so I'll join up if I may. From my pre-med courses back in college, I know what too much alcohol can do to the human body, and I've heard stories of what it did to one relative and seen what it's done to another. So I don't drink. And it's not just me - only one person in my immediate family drinks.
To what sirdaniel1975 said about stereotypes, my response to those who assume kiltie=drinker : "My ancestors were the dour Scots and the melancholy Irish - the ones that didn't drink (or had already drunk too much)."
