The 1956 coach (bus over here...) is really especially beautiful. Are any of the vehicles in running condition?
Several of the vehicles are kept roadworthy and attend special events. I was told that the 1956 coach is occasionally used to provide day trips for the museum's volunteer staff.

Thanks for the photos, I especially liked the one of the Leyland Tiger Cub bus, it was built the same year I was born.
Kind Regards,
David.

The Popemobile looks more comfortable to ride in than the 1917 Leyland R.A.F. lorry with solid steel rims.

That's a ride I want to go on. Don't know why, but I love old buses.

Love the kilted dummy with the lorry. How cool would it be to have a dummy dressed like that in your entry hall or living room?
Or maybe a wall sticker thing like they do with athletes now days

The last time I saw the Popemobile was in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow back in 1982. Thanks for the memory.
