    That's very impressive work. I like the fringe on the apron. It makes the kilt look older and well-travelled.
    Did you solder or glue the pin back onto the nail, or is it held on with a magnet?

    Actually, the pin and sporran were finished previously. The pin has a brooch pin on the back held in place with superglue and the wire wrapped around the hilt and blade.

    The fringe on the hem was just the unfinished edge of the material.

    Great thinking on the kilt pin. Looks like the nail was made just for that purpose.
