Been here for a month, made so many friends.
Great site, big cheers to the people who run it, and all

Kind wishes all around.

So if you don't count the originator of the site, I'm member number 11. It's been an interesting ride

Been here just over four years and six months....thanks (or due to) Steve Ashton who told me about it over on a British kilt board. You guys were thriving when I got here.
Hard to say what my favorite thing is about this board. On one hand you've steered me to VALUE....the finest quality at fair price.
In that process I've gotten to meet, or at least get to know well, some kiltmakers. Its a real joy to know and trust your kiltmaker rather than have to wonder who's sewing it up, will it be done on time, will it be done right....
I've probably saved a LOT of money and GRIEF by being warned of vendors who take our money then don't deliver, or deliver shoddy work, or don't feel the need to be responsive to paid customers waiting for goods. How can anyone put a value on avoiding such pitfalls?
Its a joy to attend highland games knowing I'm going to meet X Marks friends there. Or, even to have an X Marks friend trek to the canyonlands to "liberate" my little town by having TWO kilted gentlemen about town.
I was already deep into "Scottish Jean" kilt addiction when I got here. You guys fueled that addiction with tartan kilts. Guess I've done more than my share to support the economy.
Would encourage the new guys to jump on in. Share your knowledge and wisdom. Ain't no difference between you and the old hands...we just found this place sooner. And please, don't hold back sharing the quality craftsmen you've found.

I haven't been here for 5 years, but it does not surprise me that XMarks has lasted this long. I'm sure that we'll be here for some time to come.
My only surprise is how long it took me to find out about XMarks.

The growth over five years is simply amazing and the sheer volume of information and fun on the board is great!

This is a great community. I wish I had found it sooner.

I've been here since Sept, 2004 myself. There has been a lot of members who've come and gone in that time, but this little place on the net keeps growing.
