Oh yes, and there were the fuzz. I was as cool as a cucumber until I realized that one of our members was wearing a hemp kilt! but hey, a full body cavity search should count as a kilt check! Alas still nothing . I asked Robert if the Stratford police pipe band wears leather kilts, they do not. Somewhere along the route, after much debating of what colour tie to wear before hand, I realized that I could've worn my Maple Leaf tartan tie. It would have been perfect because the DuchessofNC and McMurdo presented me with such a wonderful gift of a hat in that very tartan. I thank you both.
Stratford is a beautiful town with the river Avon just calling me to go kayaking. The 100 year old facades of the main street really added to the atmosphere as did the run-down ramshackle hovel of a kilt shop that turns out such beautiful works of kilted art. It is an excellent venue for a kilt night, missing only that of a Wompet and an Improv1. Though I do have to ask, who had the audacity to invite that kilt check stealing ladies man Robert?

Looks like it was a lot of fun. Especially in Stratford which is such a great town. I'm sorry I missed it but parental duties called. I look forward to the next one whenever and wherever that may be.

What a great night!
Would it have truly been a SOKS occasion if the police weren't involved?
Cheers
