Sorry Tartan-- That was just my lame attempt at a joke

My real baby is about to turn a year old, and as they say "Quit while you're ahead."

I was also prepared to say "Congratulations". I hope you and your husband recover quickly. Maybe you can get your seven year-old to help out. The kiss idea seem like good motivation to me.

Thanks for the well wishes all--I'll pass them along

It has been sweet and also occasionally frustrating. It's an endearing experience to help someone with their everyday personal tasks, but by the end of the day I'm surprised at how exhausted I am

Training with kisses, I like that idea!

    And Ted--what is belcro?

    hmmm

This is why I dislike clips. I learned my lesson the same way. I even tried practicing unclipping for accidents. I went to standard trap pedals. You lose a little efficiancy but very little.

Yep. I had a semi-major accident in high school that would have been much worse if I'd been riding my bike with clips, instead I was riding my brother's bike. Only broke my wrist when it would have been much worse had the bike 'followed' me over the handlebars. Have used trap pedals ever since. My brother broke his collarbone due to clips. I'd much rather be able to ditch the bike completely.

My best hopes for his recovery. Being one-handed for a while stinks.
