He looks great, but I have a question...where does he keep his crayons (mine go in the sporran)?

    A great look for sure.

OK it's a little long and the wrong way round etc but the smile clearly shows he is enjoying wearing a MUG and that's great!

Some wanted to take him home. The moms gave me the most comments, all positive. It's a co-op preschool so I work(ed) there about 3 days a month (for the last five years) with all the moms and I pick-up and drop-off all the time. Everyone has seen me in my kilts before so it wasn't any surprise that my son wore one. They were just surprised that he now owns one.

The most common question I had was "Did you make him wear that?" No, he wanted to. He practically insisted. He was so happy and proud that he was the only one in a kilt. The other question I had was "Where is your kilt?" The graduation involves plenty of sitting and getting up along with kid chasing and eating with a plate in the lap. I wore shorts. I wore the kilt later that night to a friends house however.

As for the length. It was purchased for an older boy who just outgrew it this year. My older son fits into it perfectly but he's slightly less enthusiastic about kilts. Just slightly.

    Thanks for all the comments.

He looks good. My wife says he looks like a young man who enjoys his kilt.

Our two younger sons (11 and 9) like to wear kilts for the renfaires, however, they are not interested in wearing them anywhere else. While our 26 year old has finally decided he wants a tank.
