That's a great camera... just make sure to get a couple of terrabyte drives to store the images you're going to pile up with that beauty.
I agree with English Bloke about the your kilt and the Royal Stewart tartan... never seen it look better!

It's going to take up a lot of space. But I have a 320 GB External that I've barely touched & I have space on my web server, and my HD for my desktop computer is quite a bit. If I need more than that, I guess I'll have to actually utilize my DVD-R Burner and burn to disk.

Glen,
Pics look great. May I suggest that the next purchase be the 60f2.8 Micro-Nikkor lens? Probably will have to be the AF-S version, unless you guys don't mind focusing manually, in which case, the regular AF/AF-D versions will work. The lens will allow you (or Catherine) to take life-size photos of objects, if you upgrade to a D700 or a D3, and slightly larger than life-size with the D60. It also has a faster aperture, so you will be able to get away without flash in less than ideal lighting.
If you need a forum for the Nikon D60, go ahead and hit up the Nikonians forums, at www.nikonians.org. I'm usually in the film forums, mainly the manual focus and rangefinder camera forum, and the F4/F5/F6 pro AF SLR forum.
