That was what I was thinking, too.

Possibly... unless the parents don't post photos of their kids online or their kids don't want the photos posted online. Also -- probably not too common -- but some kids don't go to things like prom (I didn't). And not all kids are interested in the kilt, either, so they might have had other plans for attire.

I teach highschool -- English and Creative Writing -- and will be attending this year's grad banquet in my all-black kilt ensemble. I will post a picture. Also, I have at least two colleagues who go kilted, and with their permission I'll post their pictures.
If any kids do show up in kilts (last year we had three boys all kitted out), with their permission I'll have pics of them, too; however, most of our grade twelves this year are... lacking in energy and originality, so I anticipate few kilts. We'll see.

Sorry, but I had to stand-up for my church.

Aye. There are at two of us at our church that I know about. And this is just the 8 AM service which typically only has 20 or 30 people there.

Yeah, I can relate to being surrounded by a lack of energy and creativity in Grade 12. My high school's prom (or Formal as we called it) was usually a pretty sad affair in every way you can imagine! I went once and was bored stiff within the hour!

Aye! Episcopalians stand up and be kilted!
And speaking of parochial schools, I don't know how many there are in the Presbyterian Church, but there are a fair number in the Episcopal Church. The parish where I work part-time has 500 students in pre-K through 8th grade. The uniform for the girls is Dress Gordon tartan. They also see this guy kilted on a regular basis -- it's my effort at cultural diversity education! I had a mother come up to me and say how glad she was to see me kilted. Her sixth grade son has a kilt that he wears on special occasions. She appreciates the example that I set for him.
I know -- we've gone off topic! But, it is to say that this Episcopal School is kilt friendly.

I think Beloitpiper is right: we don't seem to have any seniors onboard this year.
But, just so we can all feel appropriately and righteously indignant, I can report that a local school system reportly turned a student away for his kilt.
Let's get up a little neck tie party and pay the administration a little visit. We'll go kilted, of course.
My step-son did not wear a kilt to his prom because he's a sissy. But there were many young lasses clad in dresses that should be restricted to the red light district and no one complained, so i guess kilts would have been OK. (We all know what color underwear they had on--if they had any.)
What were their daddies thinking? !!!!
