Xabaras,
Italy are playing NZ in a couple of weeks...will be a good gauge for where both the teams are at for the coming international season.

I'm a retired rugby player. Just like the Marines, there are no ex-rugby players.
Yeah thats right...because you still have the injuries and ruck marks from when you played...

Ciao Xabaras,
como te vai? What is your club? I used to play with the AFSouth Lions in Naples and also Beach Rugby sometimes with the All Bluffs. My favourite city for rugby is definitely Roma, unfortunately I've seen Scotland beaten there (and at Murrayfield)!
Forza Azzuri!

No. We don't like spherical ball (I hate the mono-sport Italian attitude). Touch Rugby it's a sort of "Light" kind of game, very popular in NZ and AU, played at high speed without tackle or scrum. I play very often union rugby, but when you reach 38 bruises and marks and pain tend to stay with you longer than when in the 15-20 . This way we can play more and enjoy more beer!

Brian
One of the ex-rugby players I know is somebody who can ex-'walk upright without being in pain.'

Ciao Fougasse! Our club is the "Touch Rugby Roma", created from the scratch two years ago! I know the "All Bluffs" team, always present at any 6 Nations match here in Rome. If You see the match won by Italy with a trilling last second drop, I was here also (and obliviously kilted!).
