I have the same problem. Sport Kilt material is just too light- the slightest breeze blows it up! Living in the Rocky Mountains, that is aproblem. We get more than just slight breezes here... My 13 oz wool works well, as does my 11 oz PV from USA Kilts, but my Sport Kilt hasno weight in the pleats at all. A door opens too quickly close to me, and my SK goes up to my ears. SO- another thought for those of us in warm, windy climates is an Amerikilt. I have 2. They're not as light as SK, and are a little warmer, but they are more wind resistant.
And JR Miller- thank you for the review. Wear your SK- and all subsequent ones- in good health. I'm going camping this weekend... and next weekend... and the weeked after... and will be taking my SK for lounging around the camp.
