The Hooligans rock A'Ville

Great pics and looks like a great time. Dancing kilted is a joy!

And, I'm most pleased the word "Hooligan" has been redeemed and the band wears it proudly.

Three years ago I posted about a black t-shirt with the word Hooligan in white across the chest. Received these warning responses.

"I wouldn't suggest wearing it overseas unless you want to do jail time or get deported..."

and

"In Europe hooligans or hooligan associations are not considered "funny".
Hooligans are violent, retarted and almost always ultra right wing (read: Neo Nazis). Good advice...don't bring it to Europe"

I'm guessing the band considered those implications before they chose the name. Glad the interpretation of the word has mellowed over the past years. Always seemed a fun word to me.

And how cool is it they let madpiper join in!!??
