USA Kilts casuals have velcro but they are nice and no chance for a wardrobe malfunction... on the other hand..Stillwater kilts are cheap enough and use a three buckle system... a good knockabout kilt

Thanks for the tips fellas. You've given something to think about - like i haven't gone crossed in the past week or 2 checking out kilts online. When these things grab you... I'll let you know how it goes.

He's hooked!
And for what it's worth, I use Velcro on the underaprons of all my 16 oz wool kilts. I appreciate the comfort and precise adjustability. I've never had any problems with it "letting go."
I also use Velcro on both aprons of my hiking kilts, and they really have to stand up to lots of thrashing about...never had a problem there, either.

I am quite pleased with the USAK casual, been washed 5 or 6 times, no problems with the velcro. I had a SWK economy (with buckles) also, for me the USAK casual (velcro) fits my needs better.
This is only my personal opinion, the SWK is certainly worth the money, and I doubt faster shipping than Jerry provides is even possible.
