Wompet,
Sounds like good ideas for group S.E.K.S.. Sorry that I probably will not have the chance to meet you before you return North. My fair wife Jean was born and raised on Grand Island, and we'll fly there Friday evening to visit friends before a family reunion Saturday down in Scio, NY. Maybe August SEKS will still work out if I can stay in town a few days that month and the hurricane gods smile on us.
Fair winds,
Bruce

Atlanta area SEKS,
Anything being planned? I'm back from disaster duty sooner than expected and just wanted to know if anything is brewing. Thanks

I hope there will be something this month, since, if plans work out, it will be last one I will attend for nearly two years.
The fourth Saturday this month is August 22. Shall we get together at the James Joyce at 7? Good food, good company, and good-bye...

Where is James Joyce? We live just south of Atlanta. We will be in Savannah the 19th - 22nd, but depending on the time of the SEKS, we would be interested if we get back in time.

The 22nd at James Joyce sounds good to me and 7 PM should work well. Looking forward to meeting the crew.

Here is a map
I shall do my best to attend.
Convener, Georgia Chapter, House of Gordon (Boss H.O.G.)
Where 4 Scotsmen gather there'll usually be a fifth.
7/5 of the world's population have a difficult time with fractions.

I shall endeavor to show up, especially if Wompet can attend as I need to deliver some goods to him. It's just too bad that the JJ doesn't have music.
BTW, I went to the Session last monday at Fado and had a grand time. Of course I was participating in the music (bodhran) so there was an extra bit of fun to be had there. I was surprised that the drinks and food are reasonable, esp for Buckhead. Parking on the street was free and easy, it being a Monday.
There is a Session every Monday, 8 to whenever the music stops. I'll likely attend a couple of times a month, work travel permitting.
