Actually, there is a huge difference.
29 years ago, people were on average slimmer than today's.
Most people on these photos is slim or average built, as opposed to nowadays where most people are overweight.

I think it's great that there was some normalcy in the 1980's. That somebody, somewhere was not wearing a denim jacket or raspberry beret. I know ALL ABOUT the 80's, I've seen Back to the Future.

I like the way photographs of that time have aged. Certain colours become more vibrant and others get washed out. It really fixes a picture in time.
It is also interesting to see what pictures were thought to be important at the time. Photography was never a 'cheap' pastime in those days, so every shot had to be a good one.
