Hurricane Bill is on its way to my house

Having ridden out both Bertha and Hugo in Myrtle Beach South Carolina I can tell you that it all seems like alot of fun until the sky turns green and the winds blow so hard that you can't breathe. You are lucky to have missed it. I hope we all have a mild Hurricane season..

Apperently the remains of Hurricane Bill has just arrived here in Scotland. I am not joking.

Here in the West of Scotland, we have been given a severe weather warning that we are getting the tail end of Hurricane Bill today, Wednesday. It has been pouring rain all day.

It would appear that we get the tail end of every hurricane as it just rains all the time here except when Brigadoon appears

Far to the South, right down on the coast we are under a 10/10 of dark cloud with low temperatures, wind and rain showers all morning with no sign of it clearing - perhaps we can blame Bill as well.

Oh now you did it!! I have one can of Bermuda ginger beer left in my cupboard. It's about 5yrs old. Think it's still good? All I need is some Goslings Dark Rum.

Bill was a non-player here in Halifax. The storm surge was quite dangerous though. Good to hear we didn't have any fatalities because of people going out to the beaches to see the waves.

Hate to say it but it would appear from the forecasted path that Danny is hot on the heels of Bill... looks to be following pretty much the same path a bit closer to the actual coast line but no landfall until possibly Canada...

In NE and NS hurricanes and nor'easters happen it is just part of the cycle we only pay attention when something is bad.
