    Chas.

    So all shipping in the Western Approaches do not have to turn, forthwith, 90 degrees to the South, due to a reported yellow turtle like thing being a hazard to navigation?

    PM The Wizard of BC. I do not think there are any left, but checking with him would be best.

    Joann's was the source for the the Norcal Rabble supply. I think they were actually labeled "marigolds" so perhaps if one inquired for that name instead of "dandelion" they might be listedin inventory that way.

    To be on the safe side......

    Considering the current state of the Royal Mail......

    Yesterday Shelley sent me to "Joann's" fabric and craft shop to get some 16 gauge wire for a project she's on. The folks in the store sent me to their flower section and I found.........

    16 gauge wire.....

    and.........

    The women in the shop were already freaked out enough by the kilt guy, then I saw the dandelions and let out a really loud YAHOOO! likely scared the hell out of them!

    They had one of these bunches on hand, with about 26 flowers on the bunch, mostly in twos, one set of which with a little tinkering and some epoxy made a nice plant badge;

    I know, a leather tam.... don't panic, it's one of my ren-fair bonnets!

    On the negative side, Joann's are a chain store. They get these flowers in big lots, all the different types have a common "part number" so I'm was not able to confirm if I could special order just the dandelions...

    For what it's worth, you might look and see if there is a Joann's near you;

    Trust me they are not dandelions I will take some photos of the real thing and post them growing wild in Bonny Fife Scotland :o) Lorain

    I have a small supply of dandelions from Withycombe which I am planning to bring with me to Ventura for distribution among the SoCal rabble.
