Greetings from the Keystone State. Been lurking on here for a few weeks, thought I would join up and say hello.

So far I've completed one modern kilt with my own two hands, a heavyweight duckcloth, with full width apron and 11 sewn in knife pleats. I am quite proud of it, as it passes the 'stands on it's own' test, and I'm sure it will stay with me for quite some time.

I am currently putting together my second-ever kilt, with much inspiration and gleaned guidance from this forum, especially the Apocokilt series. I hope to do justice to my inspiration, with a multi-featured utility kilt with mil-spec friendly features. Pictures will come as soon as she's done.

Hopefully I can learn some new history here, and get new ideas for making my own versions of the manliest unbifurcated garment on earth.
