Wonderful. Just wonderful. You guys did really great and I loved the phrasing etc.
It's lovely to see people who dance well together and enjoy it.

    Nice dancing!

    Jamie--
I'm new to SCD--just celebrated my first anniversary with the Berkeley class. Missed you at Pleasanton (well, I don't know you, so how would I have known to look for you?) but was dancing in a Berkeley class adjudication and shooting pictures for a couple of the performance groups. Hope to see you at one of the monthly dances. Will you be at the Oct 3 dance in Mountain View?

BTW, I admire your taste in kilts. Isle of Skye has become my favorite tartan and I'm waiting for a swatch to see the real thing before ordering my own. Also, want to see different ways it might be pleated to give different effects. I look forward to seeing yours.

    Bob,

    Welcome to XMTS!

Unfortunately my lovely wife and I will be camping with the Nor Cal Rabble for a kilted camping trip. So we will miss the monthly party our class sponsors!

We will try our best to make it to some of the other local dances and being I'm on the Valentine's Ball committee you can count on us being there!
Keep your eye out for a guide to the Valentine's Ball for beginners heading to the classes soon (I'm writing it).

    Cheers

    Well done Jamie!!!!!!!
As someone who has done a fair few public performances may I say that that was a very professional looking performance. If I were asked to be ultra critical I might be tempted to try to get you to point your toe a wee bit more on your fast travelling step and bend your knee more in the strathspey traveling step, though I know from personal experience how hard the latter can be if you haven't had time to warm up!
