I'm kind of the same way. I ordered a USA Kilt and didn't even think about the logo until I received it. I like the kilt for its purpose but wish I had thought to leave the patch/logo off.

To be honest.. I like Rockys logo.. and it replaces a kilt pin in my mind.. and if you desire a bit more weight..slip a penny or nickle behind it.. but to each their own... I kept mine on for the cross.. I like Celtic Crosses.

That is a good reason to keep the patch.
Maybe I can place shilling there as reference to the Irish bleesing below.
Did you just remove the stiching along the top of the patch?
May there always be work for your hands to do.
May your purse always hold a coin or two.
May the sun always shine on your windowpane.
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

I'm not a big fan of Rocky's logo. Looks nice and all, just not my thing. I think it was on a freedom kilt I had seen the logo was on the flap of a pocket, and it 'blended' in with the material. I think on some kilts, a logo might look too flashy, and might detract from the overall look.
Then again, I would be tempted (if I ever get the money, ugg this buying a new house thing) to actually ask for the patch but not have it attached, and stick the thing on a wall or something. Maybe on a ball cap. I am a bit odd like that though.

I have a couple of Sport Kilts, one with the patch intact and the other removed as soon as it arrived. Like Rocky's, the patch is just sewn on, two minutes with a sharp knife took care of the issue.

I find that The USA Kilt's patch really helps with my Casual Ios Kilt's Apron staying down!

Personally, I am so pleased with the quality and service that I get from USAKilts that I gladly advertise for Rocky. Put me firmly in the camp of "If he offered a dark green polo shirt with the logo I would wear it" camp
