Yep. I've gotta go with Stravaiger on this one. Granted, when I've ironed my wool kilts,
A: As Stravaiger said, it's only been a couple of pleats that need straightening out, and
B: I'm always VERY careful to run with the current crease (even if I've sat on wet wool for a couple of hours, there's always a remnant of the crease there that I can re-emphasize.).
If I were going to go through and attempt to do a full reset on the entire kilt, I'd baste as per Barb's instructions. Yes, it's a pain in the hiney, but you'll thank yourself for taking the time to do it later.
