Well, country specific access problems aside, I truly enjoyed it. Very tongue in cheek, but informative.

I would kindly ask that if members want to share photos/videos/audio/multimedia content with the rabble, to please consider that many of us do not live in the United States, and as such, we are unable to watch Hulu, or any of the U.S. TV network online content (like from CBS, Disney, Joost, Pandora, etc). Neither is much of BBC's content available outside of the UK for that matter.
Please, also don't bother posting up "workarounds", as none of them I've ever tried work properly, and the ones that do tend to be shut down or denied access at some point.
Sorry.
Are you saying we should not share things with each other if you can't watch them in Japan? Sorry, but I refuse to abide by that.

Didn't say that. Shouldn't put words into my mouth. Please read my post again.

I didn't put any words in your mouth. I asked you a question, which you did not answer. Here's another one: What, exactly, WAS the point of your original post?

The question was sarcastically put, and therefore seen as rhetorical.
But the point was merely to point out, that when posting links to content that others cannot see (and I said nothing about Japan, by the way), is akin to posting websites in other languages or that result in 404 errors. It just gets tiring after a while...
For the same reason why many forums request (and some even require) that all posts be written in English: so that there is a universal standard and so that all members can enjoy it.
If people want to persist in putting up links to Hulu, they are free to do so -- I'm not asking anyone to abide by anything, as long as I'm free to continue pointing out that many of us aren't able to see what they've posted.

Of COURSE you're free to whine. To quote you, however, "It just gets tiring after a while..."
