Grandpappy's a big 'un, as we say in this section of the state. If you go on Saturday, you'll be pretty well pressed on all sides. If you go on Sunday, the crowds disperse and you can have a little more elbow room. I've done both, and prefer Sunday. If you haven't been before, though, you should probably go on Saturday.
Hopefully I'll see you at several Games this summer.

Grandfather is one not to miss. It's a bit pricey but well worth it.

I'm sorry to say we wont be able to make it to the reunion at Matt's Tent. Wish we could but as I stated earlier my fiancee owns her own business so we have to go when we can...ie she's closed on Sundays. Hopefully I'll still get to meet several of you, and Matt. Because of the wedding in October we may only be able to make it to LNHG. Maybe next year we can get to Grandfather. I have a good friend, still bifurcated unfortunately who grew up around Grandfather Mt. so he may go with us

Well, I'm assuming that I'll be in my usual role as band chef and baggage boy, so I'll be at Grandfather for sure. I don't know if the Montreat band is planning on Loch Norman this year or not, but I'll probably be there anyway.

I might be there Friday night, maybe Saturday morning, and Sunday for sure. Be sure to catch Albannach while you're there.

Sadly, I am going to miss the Loch Norman Games this year. We are dedicating our new church on Saturday and I have a race on Sunday. I still hold out hope for making Grandfather Mountain, though. Have fun, everyone.
