Let me look out the window and double-check. . . nope, clean and dry here
Hope all you folks dealing with the unaccustomed levels of white stuff are doing OK! Sun Diego has suffered through some bitterly cold days (never getting out of the 60Fs!) but we are headed back to our normal 70s this coming week.

PTHTPTBTH!
It snowed about six inches here last Monday, and we're expecting another round of the same this Sunday/Monday. Temps have been in the 20's F all week. I HATE cold weather.

Yep, but it's Chicago in February. Not a real going concern. We'll have snow until June!!!

We've had about 58" so far, a little below average. Last year we had more than that much just in Dec. alone.

Ern, we've had around 2 feet here in my area, which is nothing close to your accumulation. But, I did hear, on the radio, that it is more than the total snowfall for the last 10 years. More is predicted for Monday. My yard, right now is a mixture of white snow and red Amelia County mud. My truck stays in four wheel drive until I hit the first hard surface road. A few days I've gad to stay in 4x mode for nearly 4 miles. Amelia has the most modern and
"GREEN" snow removal system in the state, "Solar Powered". It is also known as "What God has Dumped, he can remove."

Mael Coluim,
It snowed approximately 1.5 inches here last night and, in grand Piedmont tradition, half of the motor vehicle traffic crashed into the other half and everything government related closed down.

This has to be a Joke. Vancouver and Whistler have no snow. I bet some people in Vancouver would trade our relatively dry weather with you guys.

This is eastern North Carolina this morning, 20 miles in from the outer banks.

I'm guessing about 3" - 4" here. Figured it would be a great chance to do some gear testing so I strung up my hammock and Tarp. I needed to see if my tarp would hold the weight or rip. In the span of about 2 hours we went from this

to this

But today has just been absolutely gorgeous
