It wasn't royal Stewart. It looked like a bumble bee tartan. It had 4 red squares with a BLACK section and a white stripe. It KIND of resembled the MacQueen tartan, but with a white stripe in place of the yellow (MacQueen has yellow) and only 4 red blacks, not 16.

It's a catchy tune. Drives forward in musical progression with escapés and a maybe an appoggiatura in there. I wish the Carpenters were still here. They could get Karen's angelic voice to punch in the melody while just as in "Goodbye to Love" that searing fuzzy guitar work blazes across the foundational figured bassline.
WOW!
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

That was just weird.
FYI Geico uses a limited agent business line. Most of their business is centralized to a few service call centers. They use a lot of technology capture to minimize paper work and paper handling.
Their ad budget is not all that much different than Allstate or State Farm, but the change up of "players" (Lizards, Cavemen, bundles of cash with cartoon eye) makes it seem like they are everywhere.

No, serious. Other than non-commercial media I'd be very surprised if there was any commercial television, radio, billboard, magazine et.al that Geico isn't running ads with. THey are pervasive - whatever their spokesman.
Just makes no sense to me how much money they spend on advertising....how can they possibly recoup it? Gotta be a Ponzi deal.
Warren must have charged them a pretty penny for their use of his image/talents/name.

Apparently it's an in-house video for some annual function. Buffett is a major stockholder and it seems this is the 4th or 5th of these he's appeared in. Everyone else in it is a Geico employee. They do it just for fun, not commercial purposes.

I didn't know that the Gecko could play guitar, he truly is amazing. Once I saw that video, the Axyl Rose parody was pretty obvious. I just have one question, what was with the Union Jack on the other Guitar, shouldn't it have been a Saltire? OK, that was probably just me reading too much into it, but I liked the video.
