Thanks azwild, will do........normally have it there, but was in a hurry, hence the improper sit to the kilt and the use of the floor as a tripod......

It seems silly to me that so many manufacturers place a decoration on the handle knowing it will not be seen by very many. Maybe someone else here has a theory?
I agree the sgian dubh needs to be a little further in. On the subject of decoration, I've read that this is customary and traditional, even though it's meant to be hidden. Most "dress" models will have ornamentation down to the tip of the sheath, even though the sheath itself is not meant to be removed from the hose. I don't know why it's like this, but don't blame the manufacturers. They're just following tradition.

Scotcop, I think your outfit matches nicely (even though you needn't worry about matching... the most you really need to do is just avoid majorly clashing). Personally, I tend to try to match 'tones' sort of like you did. If I wear some shade of blue hose, I'll usually wear some shade of blue shirt, even if it's not the same color. I think it looks nice to have a 'blue tone' day, and then later on have a 'brown tone' day, etc., even with the same kilt.
