In Welsh the letter K is not used - replaced instead by a hard sounding C.

OK it seems you're new here so pull up a chair. Apparently there is a doctored picture of me in a leather kilt with a rubber chicken as a sporran. I don't recall seeing this so there is no proof. At the time that I did pose for this non-existent picture I had nothing against rubber chickens, in fact after searching long and hard (and eventually going through ebay) I got one and was so proud of it. So at this particularly proud and happy moment the only thing I had against a rubber chicken was a leather kilt. Rubber chickens are brilliant, you just can't explain them to people that had never seen one.
Flash forward, or back, my user name - ccga3359. Some know and some don't know. It stands for Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary and my number. It is something I've done for the past 10 years. In hindsight it was not a good forum name that didn't lend itself to a handy nickname but just like my sporran I was deeply proud of it. Slowly people started calling me by my given name, perhaps they got it from my posters nailed up at the post office or maybe it was because it was just a single syllable. I have often thought about changing my forum name to Grant but didn't want to bother the busy Moderators who were always busy moderating my posts and deleting these non-existent rubber chicken sporran pictures where ever they where.
Well the stars seemed to align, this spring (after readying the boat for a new season) I stepping away from the auxiliary (so that I can spend more time on XMarks). Around the same time (Saturday night) there was an un-requested offer for a name change. It was after a night of kilted merriment at the Rkilts Abattoir (or whatever Canuck calls it these days), I jumped on it.
True my new name is "Kilted Abuser of Rubber Chickens" as opposed to my old title of "Kilted Defender of Rubber Chickens" or whatever it was (I really don't remember the exact wording). But it had the words Chicken, kilted and Rubber in it. Then again if the offer was for "Trousered Abuser of Rubber Chickens" or "Village Idiot with the Rubber Chicken Sporran" I'd still have jumped at it.

Sorry, I digress. Nothing until two days ago. A carrot dangled before my eyes. I can change my politics for a new moniker. So I have.

you know it is truely a shame that "The Grant" (again his attempt to be like "The Rock") must stoop to such levels to gain our attention... I guess this might be also a feable call for Panache to step in and calm the Rubbered Chicken. If thats the case... we need to send up the Loud McLeod signal and hopefully our pith helmeted super hero will come and ease this situation, before "The Grant" truely makes grown men gasp, and old ladies shake their heads with disbelief....

You may show the picture but nobody yet knows that I had accidentally deleted or otherwise lost all my digital copies of this picture and a search through your files has saved this picture in it's original black and yellow glory.
