So you're saying jerky is not found in Egyptian tombs...?

I had toast this morning, which was nice. I have THAT going for me.
Interesting stuff, thanks Mike!

Bacteria won't grow in honey, but I've yet to find a good explanation of why. There is much speculation.

The laser printer was actually invented by Gary Starkweather under the auspices of Xerox.

Thing, the disembodied hand/arm limb, was usually played by Ted Cassidy. When Lurch had to be on camera at the same time as Thing, however, associate producer Jack Voglin lent his hand. A third actor also played Thing on occasion, but his identity is not known.
Thing was usually a right hand. Ted Cassidy (Lurch) occasionally used his left hand just to see if anybody would notice. Thing also had an arm, which was seen when it reached outside for something while in its box.

I don't think anything 'happened' to him. It seems that he, as well as some others, are taking a little time off from the forum.
Perhaps you should send him a PM.

I was just over at Kiltforum (Robin's site), Rex hasn't poster there in a while either. Trust that he is alright. In bringing this thread back on track I have a rambling bit of trivia that are just taking up space between my ears.
Seems to me that on that forum there is another forum-absent member that has ventured back in to the posting mode albeit not on XMarks but that's a good thing. I'll not say his name here as, quite frankly, my ears still bleed upon hearing that name. True I rediscovered my love for tapioca pudding due to his efforts but still I feel that his dapper image and fancy words have no place here!

While you're up, please pass me a piece of Nefertiti, and some more fermented honey.
