    Saw this on msn.com:

I have noticed that in the last few days there has been a decided drop in temperature here, particularly when the sun is low in the sky. The mid day temperatures have not been bad, but a definite chill is evident both morning and evening.

After the single deposit of dust two mornings ago it seems that no more is settling, but that is still around and it is not pleasant.

I have seen a couple of people around wearing dust masks.

The sunset was back to normal tonight which tends to confirm the news that the volcanic ash has now cleared from Scotland.

That is outstanding stuff! Thanks Barb. I find volcanoes very exciting. I like living in boring New England with no notable rumblings beneath my feet, no real weather extremes but I love knowing about these things happening in other places. My dinner plates remain on their shelves, dust intact. Great photos. Thanks!
